Epson SureLab printers use UltraChrome D6r-S dye-based inks with a 6-colour set comprising Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Light Cyan, Light Magenta and Black.

While dye-based inks typically fade faster, Epson’s formulation includes stabilisers that significantly improve resistance to UV light and ozone, which are key causes of fading, delivering vibrant colour reproduction and long-term image stability when used with compatible Epson media.

For optimal results, pair Epson genuine inks with Epson photo media. Together, they are designed to achieve smudge-resistant and water-resistant prints with consistent colour performance.

No media curling

The SureLab D530 uses cut sheet media, allowing prints to remain flat after printing. Flat output may support easier handling and insertion into sleeves or frames compared to certain roll-based dye sublimation systems.
